A leper came to Jesus and kneeling down begged him and said, “If you wish, you can make me clean.”
Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I do will it. Be made clean.” Mark 1:40-41

The Lord does not withhold mercy, forgiveness, kindness, compassion, or guidance from us. He wishes us to be whole and healed. All we have to do is ask him for his grace-filled help.

Today I will turn to the Lord in times of trouble. I will ask for healing and trust the Lord hears and answers me.

“[Jesus,] if you wish, you can make me clean.”
Mark 1:40b

Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean of resentment, selfishness, racism, low self-esteem, disdain, and fear.

Bless me, Lord. FIll me with your joy.
