Moses said, “Do not forget the LORD, your God.Deuteronomy 8:14b

We are always in the presence of God. We commit ourselves to remember the Lord no matter what is happening in our life, our family, or our world, to thank him for his gifts, and to call on him for all our needs.

Today I will start and end my day with an Our Father for peace and unity in our world. I will say grace before each meal and remember I am one part of the Body of Christ.

Fed by love

Jesus said to them, “Give them some food yourselves.” Luke 9:13a

Today I will remember I am always being fed by God’s patience, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and peace. I will give this same food to everyone I encounter.

Blessed and satisfied

Lord, when I want to withhold my possessions, money, energy, time, or creativity from those in need, help me to remember you bless and multiply every loving action I take. With you in charge, there is always enough to go around—and plenty left over.

Then taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, [Jesus] said the blessing over them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied. And when the leftover fragments were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets. Luke 9:16-17
