A tiny morsel of faith

The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you." Luke 17:6

The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” Luke 17:6

I have a tiny morsel of faith, a surety deep in my heart that God is in charge of me and the whole world, and I can trust God’s vision and timing.

I’d like to play a tiny part in God’s great vision, and so today I will practice love, compassion, kindness, and forgiveness.

For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; if it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late. Habakkuk 2:3

You know Mary as I read your post the thought occurred to me, “Because God’s vision is so great we think ours has to be also.” You made me realize again, it is not about “MY VISION,” or “MY VISION” being so great.

It is about us, “playing a tiny part in God’s great vision,” in whatever way the Holy Spirit leads us.

I mean if we would look at all things as “God’s vision” and get ourselves out of it, do our part in helping God’s vision come to pass, that is what is about.

I learned through this post, God wants to share everything about us with Himself. He just does not want us to get out here and try to be Him, that includes dreaming up our own vision’s and saying they are God’s. Thank you so much again! Love and God Bless, SR

You know Mary, you are actually teaching me (though slow learner I am) how to become small in the estimation of myself, so that God can become great in all things in my life. You have done it through these post, your humility, your desire to be obedient and Christ-Like, and most of all just the way you live your life, and always it seems, to put the things of God first in it.

You are teaching me how to actually live life with God. It is becoming a wonderful and peaceful life, finally. The way you have taught me this is through the daily small things you do. I am grateful and thankful to you and God for that, as it is changing my life, and my perspective on it. Love and God Bless, SR
