Becoming obedient

[Jesus] humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Philippians 2:8

In all times God walks with us through fear, pain, uncertainty, sorrow, and grief. Our part is to trust God’s will, trust God’s vision, trust God’s love, trust God is with us.

Today I will accept that this is a time of illness and isolation. I will ask God to show me God’s will for me and for the grace to carry it out.

Hello Mary. I am hoping to be back. As usual you were the first one I read. To update you. You know we had to sell our home and move in with dad two years ago as he had a brain stem stroke. Dad passed in November. It was very hard, tiring, and this post tells the story of the past two years. I was so glad to see you are still up. Have thought of you often as you have always touched my life. Love you, SR

It’s so good to hear from you, SR. I’m sorry to hear about your father’s suffering. How blessed he was to have you to care for him.
