Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unsearchable his ways!
Romans 11:33

We can’t out-guess, out-think, or out-imagine God. God is infinitely good, wise, creative, merciful, and loving. God will reveal what we need to know when we need to know it in order that we may grow in humility, patience, trust, goodness, wisdom, and love.

Today I will ask myself who Jesus is. I will examine the ways he has led me, taught me, and shown me how to be in the world. I will model my life on his way of wisdom, compassion, and love.

Breathe in love

Lord, when I called, you answered me; you built up strength within me. Psalm 138:3

Every moment of the day is full to bursting with the holy presence of God. Each time I breathe in, the Spirit of God fills me with love. Each time I breathe out, I cast myself into the deep waters of God’s infinite presence.

Today I will deepen my conscious contact with the Lord by mindfully breathing in God’s love. When I breathe out, I will call on the Lord for strength and help—and remember God’s answer is always love.

For who has known the mind of the Lord
or who has been his counselor? Romans 11: 34

We can never know the depths of God or the workings of God’s mind, but we can always trust God’s unending love for each and every one of us.

Today I will know I am surrounded and enfolded by God’s love in every moment. I will share that love generously with others.
